Furzedown Annual Charity Events 2025
We are supporting WASA Disability Swimming Club for young people, which teaches disabled children to swim. We paid for volunteers' training courses in 2017 and 2022.

We are supporting WASA Disability Swimming Club for young people, which teaches disabled children to swim. We paid for volunteers' training courses in 2017 and 2022.
Our Quiz Night raised over £2,500 for local causes! Everyone enjoyed it and the winning team was The Gulf of Furzedown. We raised awareness of local charities including The TYA room at St George’s Hospital, South London MNDA and learn2love2read. And we enjoyed an inspiring short film on The Furzedown Project - produced by Ethan, a year 9 Graveney School pupil.
The night was sponsored by Aspire, and local businesses - including Howden Insurance, Ricks Restaurant and Belgiardino - provided amazing raffle prizes worth over £500,
Looking forward to our next event - a Garden Gig in June
FACE (Furzedown Annual Charity Events) is a group of friends and neighbours in the Furzedown area of Tooting, South London. In 2011 they got together to raise money for local causes affecting those close to us.
In 2025 FACE's first event is the Quiz night in February and are planning a Garden Gig in the summer, as well as more plant sales... Read more HERE

How we do it...
Over the years we've run Quiz Nights at Graveney School, enjoyed Comedy Nights with Furzedown FCN; hosted Garden Gigs with top artists and musicians; had plant sales; done antique valuation days; partnered with local schools' fundraising activities and Run raffles. Read more in our blog HERE
