Furzedown Festival's summer of fun

We are very proud to be part of the Furzedown festival which has been so special this year, with events running throughout the summer.

At the Big Day Out on 13 June we raised over £2,000 selling half-price Heyland & Whittle goodies and lots of plants, including lovely home-made window boxes. Thank you to everyone who supported us!

We also had an interesting Valuation Day in June with three friendly and knowledgable experts from Rosebery's Auction House who helped local residents gain an insight into all the treasures they brought along.

The FACE Garden Gig was held on Sunday 21 June - a feast with the Feasts, who provided a delicious barbeque meal with great music from Simon Prager & Doc Stenson.

Also throughout the summer green-fingered Stu has been selling plants to help raise money and we've been selling tickets for our Charity Raffle, to be drawn on 3 October.

Thanks to FCN for doing such a great job running the events and helping us raise money for local charities.
