St George's Hospital chill-out room launch!

Over 6 years we have raised almost £20,000 to enable St George's Hospital transform a small tatty staff room into a relaxing oasis for young people with cancer, as well as being a base for Nikki, a specialist nurse (funded by Macmillan Nurses) who will provide support and therapeutic activities - which we are hoping to support in the future.

This has only been possible thanks to the support of Furzedown neighbours, local schools, businesses and friends. Including the generous donations from Heyland & Whittle, plus fundraising and support from Graveney School and FCN.

We have held many events, including our popular FACE Quiz Nights, Garden Gigs, Arthur Smith's Comedy night, Valuation Days and The FACE Ball and we’ve sold lovely Heyland & Whittle products, bric-a-brac and plants at local events. Plus our raffles have offered fantastic prizes, including holidays!
